Park Golf is played with a much different ball then normal golf and is played with a single club. The ball is larger and softer than a traditional golf ball, designed for use on grassy terrain.
Each Park Golf course consists of 9 or 18 holes, usually shorter in length compared to standard golf courses.
Players tee off from designated teeing areas. The objective is to complete each hole in the fewest number of strokes, same as traditional golf.
The player whose ball is farthest from the hole will play first, subsequent shots continue in this manner until the ball is holed.
Penalties are incurred for various infractions, such as hitting the ball out of bounds or into water hazards. Penalties involve adding one stroke to the players score.
Respect for fellow players and the course is paramount. Players should maintain a reasonable pace of play, repair all divots, and rake bunkers after use to ensure the course remains in good condition for others.
The objective is to complete the course in the fewest number of strokes possible. At the end of the round, players tally their scores based on the number of strokes taken on each hole. The player with the lowest total score is the winner.
